The Animal Refuge League takes in nearly 4,000 animals per year, all of whom require basic medical care.
The medical fund provides for needed medical care over and above the routine medical care that all animals receive at the Animal Refuge League including spays and neuters, vaccinations, flea, tick and worm preventatives and vet exam. Special blood tests, x-rays, ultra-sounds and surgeries are some of the extras that the general medical fund provides for.
